وأهدت المنظمة قلادة السياحة العربية من الطبقة الممتازة لأمير قطر، وذلك "تقديرا لجهودة الرائدة في تعزيز وتنمية العمل العربي المشترك في القطاعات المختلفة، لا سيما السياحة، ودور قطر البارز فيه"، وفقا لبيان من الديوان الأميري القطري.
وجرى تكريم أمير قطر خلال استقباله رئيس المنظمة العربية للسياحة، الدكتور بندر بن فهد آل فهيد، والوفد المرافق له، في مكتبه بالديوان الأميري.
من ناحيته، قال رئيس المنظمة العربية للسياحة، الدكتور بندر بن فهد آل فهيد، على "تويتر" إن "أمير قطر الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني شخصية قيادية متميزة على المستوى الإقليمي والعالمي، وحريص على دعم العمل العربي المشترك".
يشار إلى أن قطر أطلقت، أمس الاثنين، برنامج "مختصو قطر"، وهو برنامج تدريبي تفاعلي جديد عبر الإنترنت، يهدف إلى تعزيز معرفة وكلاء السفر العالميين بعروض قطر ومنتجاتها وتجاربها السياحية المتنوعة، وكذلك توفير التأهيل والاعتماد لشركائها العالميين في صناعة السفر.
وأكدت "قطر للسياحة" أن البرنامج يأتي في إطار الاستراتيجية الشاملة لـ"قطر للسياحة"، من أجل تحويل قطر إلى وجهة سياحية عالمية رائدة.
كما شهدت قطر زيادة كبيرة في عدد الزوار الدوليين خلال شهر يونيو/ حزيران 2022، والذي بلغ 149 ألف زائر، وهو الأعلى بين أشهر الصيف خلال السنوات الخمس الماضية.
