قررت الدورة الثامنة للاجتماع الوزاري للجنة التقنية المتخصصة المعنية بالعدالة والشؤون القانونية للاتحاد الأفريقي، أخيراً بأديس أبابا، تأجيل البت في ترشيحات رئاسة اللجنة إلى الدورة المقبلة.
وعزت مصادر دبلوماسية، تحدثت لـ«الشرق الأوسط»، ذلك إلى تنافس المغرب والجزائر على رئاسة اللجنة، مشيرة إلى أن الدور لرئاسة اللجنة جاء على منطقة شمال أفريقيا، بعد أن كانت تترأسها غامبيا (غرب أفريقيا).

الحكومة العراقية تسترد أموال «سرقة القرن» بالتقسيط

أعلن مكتب رئيس الوزراء العراقي محمد شياع السوداني عن استرداد الدفعة الثانية من مبالغ ما سمي بـ«سرقة القرن». وقال المكتب في بيان له أمس الأحد إنه «بمتابعة مباشرة مع رئيس مجلس الوزراء، وبالتعاون مع مجلس القضاء الأعلى تواصل الجهات المتخصّصة بقضايا النزاهة، عمليات استرداد الأموال الخاصة بالأمانات الضريبية التي جرى الاستيلاء عليها ضمن ما يعرف بـ(سرقة القرن)».
